Stoney Stanton Velo Club will be returning to Skegness in the summer of 2026!
Hold the date, Saturday June 6th, 2026 – Stoney Stanton to Skegness long distance ride.
Whether you’re a seasoned long distance cyclist, or someone who wants the challenge of your first century ride, why not join SSVC for a ride through the pleasant highways and byways of the Leicestershire and Lincolnshire countryside.
This is a long distance route, there will be manned feed stations along the way at approximately 40 miles at Croxten Kerrial and 60 miles at Threekingham. The final stop en-route is at 84 miles at The Station Cafe at Langrick Bridge – this stop will not be manned but the cafe is open for necessary sustenance.
This is not a sportive, race or time trial, purely a great excuse to enjoy a challenging distance bike ride and enjoy our lovely English countryside.

As this is a long ride, with some challenging hills around the Belvoir area, participants should be experienced, of a good standard of fitness and have a roadworthy, reliable bike. There will be no mechanical assistance available for this ride. It is mandatory that all riders wear helmets.
The ride will pass the iconic Skegness Clock Tower (for those who want a photo opportunity) and finishes at The Vine Hotel, where meals are available to purchase post ride.
For those who want to overnight in Skegness, The Vine has plenty of rooms, as well as many other accommodation options in the town. The Vine has a large car park for those who may want friends or family to pick them up at the end of the ride.
Participants must be 18 an over.
